Dr Puneeth B S, completed his MBBS at Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences (2007), MD in Internal medicine at SNMC Bagalkot (2014) and Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) in Medical Gastroenterology at BGS Gleneagles Global Hospital, Bangalore (2019). He has worked in Liver transplant team and is an expert in selection of cases, pre-transplant workup and management of post-transplant cases. He has worked in Institute of Gastroenterology and organ transplant ( Autonomous Institute, in Victoria hospital campus) with extensive training in ERCP, therapeutic endoscopy, hepatology. His areas of interest are Therapeutic endoscopy, ERCP, Pancreatology, Hepatology, Liver transplantation.
Research and publications- Done thesis on “COMPARATIVE STUDY OF ALBUMIN-BILIRUBIN (ALBI) SCORE WITH CHILD- TURCOTTE-PUGH (CTP) SCORE, MELD SCORE AND MELD-NA SCORE IN PROGNOSIS OF LIVER CIRRHOSIS” which is accepted by National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
